Pahalgam Terror Attack: Rahul Gandhi meets family members of Pahalgam terror attack victim in UP’s Kanpur

Rahul Gandhi, the Congress leader, paid a visit to Shubham Dwivedi’s family on Wednesday. Dwivedi was one of the 26 individuals killed in the Pahalgam terror assault. Gandhi traveled to Dwivedi’s house after arriving here from Amethi. He spoke to his family members and paid his respects to Dwivedi.
On Tuesday, the Lok Sabha opposition leader started a two-day tour of his constituency of Raebareli and the nearby Amethi seat, which he served three times in Parliament.

Ajay Rai, the head of the Uttar Pradesh Congress, who had been present at the final Dwivedi ceremonies on April 23, accompanied him.

Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, met with Dwivedi’s family in Kanpur on April 23 and promised to do everything in his power to apprehend those responsible for the Pahalgam terror attack.

Kanpur businessman Dwivedi only married on February 12. The Dwivedi family was horrified on April 22 when it was revealed that the 31-year-old had been shot dead by terrorists in Pahalgam, directly in front of his wife.

On April 16, he and his wife, along with nine other family members, had taken a weeklong holiday to Kashmir.
In the Anantnag area of south Kashmir, terrorists opened fire on a meadow close to the well-known tourist resort of Pahalgam on April 22, killing 26 persons, the majority of whom were tourists, and injuring a number more.
