Cabinet approves Shillong-Silchar highway project at an estimated cost of Rs 22,864 cr

The Union Cabinet approved a 166.80 km high-speed corridor from Mawlyngkhung, Meghalaya, to Panchgram, Assam. This Rs 22,864 crore project will enhance connectivity and economic growth in the region.
