An illusion-filled heist: 'Now You See Me: Now You Don’t' trailer out

Magic buffs, fasten your seatbelts. The magic heist has begun! The makers of the Now You See Me franchise have released the first trailer of the third instalment, titled ‘Now You See Me: Now You Don’t. The trailer promises a blend of high-stakes illusions, an ensemble cast and a new generation of tricksters. It takes viewers back into a world where everything doesn’t seem to be what it is.
The trailer marks the return of the iconic horsemen played by Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Morgan Freeman, and Isla Fisher. They are all set to bring back their signature moves. Their camaraderie is still sharp, and the trailer depicts their trust and skills being tested in troubled times.
The one thing that makes the trailer captivating is the introduction of a new generation of illusionists portrayed by Ariana Greenblatt, Justin Smith, and Dominic Sessa. They are not just sidekicks but a pivotal new force recruited by Jesse Eisenberg’s character. They are set out on a magical heist involving a precious diamond and a wealthy and sinister family led by Rosamund Pike.
Director Ruben Fleisher promises a visual treat with all the new tricks and illusions, and, by bringing back Morgan Freeman as the OG magician Thaddeus Bradley, creates a suspenseful plot brewing behind.
In the first film, which was released in 2013, the horsemen rob banks during live shows and expose corrupt figures of an organisation, called the Eye, and the movie also portrays a surprise twist by an FBI agent, Dylan Rhodes.
The second movie, released in 2016, delves deeper into the Eye and Dylan Rhodes’s past. Fans are eagerly waiting for the continuation of mind-blowing illusions and magical adventures. Mark Ruffalo’s character is noticeably missing in the trailer, which adds to the underlying mystery of the movie. Now You See Me: Now You Don’t is all set to hit the theatres on November 14, 2025.
