Youth Stabbed By Two For Urinating In Public Place

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A 19-year-old youth was stabbed by two persons for urinating in a public place under Hira Nagar police station limits late on Sunday night.

According to police, one Krishna Galghate, a resident of New Anjali Nagar, lodged a complaint stating that he was urinating near a boys’ hostel in Bajrang Nagar when Chandrakant Thakre alias Nantu Kala and Umesh Tanke of Meghdoot Nagar confronted him, questioning why he was urinating there. They abused him and began assaulting him.

During the altercation, Nantu pulled out a knife and stabbed Krishna, causing serious injuries. Before leaving, the accused allegedly threatened him, warning him not to confront them again. The victim was rushed to the hospital, where he is currently undergoing treatment.

A case has been registered against the accused under sections 109, 118(1), 115(2), 296, 351(3) and 3(5) of the BNS, and further investigation is underway.

Man Ends Life Owing To Family Dispute

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A 38-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself at his place under Hira Nagar police station limits on Monday. Preliminary investigation revealed that he took the drastic step owing to family dispute as his wife left him for maternal home around three months ago. He left a suicide note which was seized by the police.

According to the police, the deceased was identified as Ramesh Savita, a native of Gwalior who was staying in Ravidas Nagar. His family members said that Ramesh was an outsource employee in the excise department.

He frequently had domestic disputes with his wife due to which she went to her house along with his son around three months ago, leaving him and his daughter here. He was upset and depressed by the incident, leading him to take the drastic step.

The police began a probe into the case and conducted the post-mortem of the deceased.
