Tamannaah Bhatia Joins Sidharth Malhotra In 'Vvan – Force of the Forest'; Teaser Promises A Mythical Thriller
Sidharth Malhotra’s upcoming film ‘Vvan – Force of the Forest’ has already created significant buzz ahead of its release. On Wednesday, the makers dropped a fresh teaser that introduced a new cast member—Tamannaah Bhatia.
Although Tamannaah’s face wasn’t revealed in the teaser, she was seen running barefoot in a red saree through a dense forest. The mysterious visuals showed her lighting a lamp and stumbling upon a signboard that read, “Warning: Entering the forest after sunset isn’t allowed.”
A Tale Rooted in Indian Mythology
Production house Balaji Motion Pictures shared the teaser with the caption: “Rooted in Indian mythology and mysticism, VVAN – Force of the Forest unfolds a tale straight from the pages of history and folklore. Delighted to welcome @tamannaahspeaks to this powerful narrative — a force in her own right, ready to command the screen like never before 🌿✨”
This project marks the first collaboration between Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia, which has further fueled fan excitement around their on-screen chemistry.
Myth-Folk Thriller with a Stellar Team
The film is being described as a folk thriller co-directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra—best known for Panchayat—and Arunabh Kumar, founder of The Viral Fever (TVF). Vvan – Force of the Forest is expected to go on floors later this year and is slated for a theatrical release in 2026.
Tamannaah & Sidharth's Busy Schedules
Meanwhile, Tamannaah Bhatia continues to diversify her portfolio. Having shot to fame with Baahubali, she is now working on an impressive lineup including:
‘Ranger’
The Rakesh Maria biopic

On the other hand, Sidharth Malhotra is currently shooting for ‘Param Sundari’ alongside Janhvi Kapoor. He is also attached to Raaj Shaandilyaa’s next film, reportedly in discussions for ‘Race 4’, and has another untitled project lined up with director Sharan Sharma under Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
