PM Modi Holds 4 Key Meetings Over Pahalgam Attack, Top Ministers Attend
PM Modi held back-to-back four key meetings on the security situation after the Pahalgam attack. The four meetings held by the prime minister amid rising tensions with Pakistan were the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS), Cabinet Committee on Political Affairs (CCPA), Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) and a full Cabinet meeting.
The CCS was attended by Home Minister Amit Shah, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh and NSA Ajit Doval. The CCPA was attended by Rajnath Singh, Shah and Health JP Nadda.
At a key meeting on Tuesday, PM Modi gave Indian Armed Forces 'complete freedom to decide on the mode, targets, and timing' of India's military response to the Pahalgam terror attack.
