Not Mukesh Ambani’s Jio, Sunil Mittal’s Airtel or Vodafone but this company provides mobile phone network in Pakistan

Pakistan doesn’t have popular Indian telecom operators like Jio, Airtel, or Vodafone Idea. The country has local and regional telecom companies. As compared to India the telecom operators can’t provide such fast speed and network. But still Pakistani citizens have few telecom operators through which they can connect.

India has big operators like Reliance Jio, Airtel, Vi, and BSNL whereas Pakistan has its own telecom operators in the country. Few names like Jazz, Telenor, Zong, Ufone, and SCOM. Among them, Jazz is a mostly used network in Pakistan.

Jazz: Around 73 million users, Telenor: 48 million users, Zong: 45 million users, Ufone: 23 million users, SCOM: 16.8 million users.

Pakistan’s total population was 217.5 million in 2023, these telecom companies provide essential connectivity to the nation.

Jazz, operated by Pakistan Mobile Communication Limited (PMCL), is the most popular telecom network in the country. PMCL was formed after the merger of Mobilink and Warid Pakistan. This merger has helped Jazz to become Pakistan’s largest telecom operator to grow in the nation.
