Central Sanskrit University celebrates Annual Day

JAMMU, Apr 29: Central Sanskrit University, Shri Ranbir Campus, Kot-Bhalwal, Jammu, celebrated its Annual Day, with great enthusiasm and traditional fervour at the Vanivilas Auditorium. The event showcased the academic, cultural and sports achievements of the students and faculty over the past year.
The program began with lamp lighting by the dignitaries, followed by a soulful Manglacharan by the Department of Veda and the University Anthem. Prof. Satish Kumar Kapoor, Associate Director, extended a warm welcome, setting a vibrant tone for the day. Prof. Shreedhar Mishra, Campus Director, presented the Annual Report, highlighting the institution’s accomplishments.
Chief guest Sham Lal Sharma, MLA, delivered an inspiring keynote address on the timeless value of Sanskrit and traditional knowledge systems. Prof. Pritam Chand Shastri (Guest-of-Honour) and Dr. Ramdas Sharma (Special Guest) also shared their insights.
A dramatic performance, Veer Natakam, by students, captivated the audience. Dr. Anoop Kumar Pandey and Maninder Singh announced academic, sports and cultural award winners. A grand prize distribution ceremony followed. Prof. Mishra concluded the event with a motivational Presidential Address. Dr. Tejnath Paudel delivered the vote of thanks and Dr. Harishankar Pandey efficiently compered the program. The event ended with the National Anthem.
