Fan Builds Temple For Samantha Ruth Prabhu In Andhra Pradesh On 38th Birthday (VIDEO)

Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu now has a temple dedicated to her in Andhra Pradesh, built by a fan named Sandeep to celebrate her 38th birthday on April 28th. Sandeep, a devoted fan of the actress from Alapadu village in Bapatla district, unveiled a statue of Samantha and cut a cake in her honour. He also installed a statue of the actress inside the temple, where he now offers prayers.

Sandeep stated that he wished to build a larger temple, but his finances did not allow him to do so. He celebrated Samantha's birthday with local children and also arranged a meal for them in her honour. The statue features Samantha's statue wearing a red saree with a green blouse.

He stated that he was deeply inspired by the actress' work, which led him to become her devotee.

On the work front, Samantha was last seen in Citadel: Honey Bunny with Varun Dhawan.

Citadel: Honey Bunny also starred Kay Kay Menon, Saqib Saleem, Sikandar Kher, and Soham Majumdar, among others. It was a spin-off of the American television series Citadel, which featured Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden.

Reportedly, the Indian spin-off of Citadel has been cancelled after just one season, Deadline reported. Even the Italian sister series Citadel: Diana has been cancelled.

On the personal front, Samantha is rumoured to be dating Citadel: Honey Bunny director Raj Nidimoru. A few days ago, she was spotted visiting the Tirupati Balaji Temple with Raj.

She offered prayers before the release of Subham, her first venture as a producer, which is scheduled to hit theatres on May 9.
