The sequel to the 2019 flick A Simple Favor will feature Emily Nelson released from prison and bestows the honour on Stephanie Smothers, her “best friend”, to be her maid-of-honour at her grand wedding in Italy’s Capri. The biographical crime drama set in the 1990s follows Costao Fernandes, a customs officer in Goa, and his perilous effort to single-handedly take down a gold smuggling racket. Costao pushes through hurdles thrown at him while also navigating struggles at home. When Earth’s mightiest superheroes, the Avengers, are absent, a team of anti-heroes assembled by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine must join hands to fight against Sentry, a lethal being with an abysmal kill count. The sequel of the 2019 flick sees the return of Indian Revenue Service Officer Amay Patnaik ready to bust down his 75th raid. This time, his nemesis is Dada Manohar Bhai, a powerful man with a political influence greater than the Chief Minister. HIT: The Third Case
