The sequel to the 2019 flick A Simple Favor will feature Emily Nelson released from prison and bestows the honour on Stephanie Smothers, her “best friend”, to be her maid-of-honour at her grand wedding in Italy’s Capri. Stephanie remains on guard as she feels a sinister plot brewing against her. Helmed by Paul Feig, the film stars Anna Kendrick, Blake Lively, Andrew Rannells, Elizabeth Perkins, and Michele Morrone.

Bromance

When Binto receives an unexpected call that his brother Shinto is missing, he teams up with his brother’s friends to track down his whereabouts and the truth behind his disappearance while, along the way, forming unlikely alliances. Directed by Arun D Jose, the film features Mathew Thomas, Arjun Ashokan, Mahima Nambiar, Sangeeth Prathap, and Shyam Mohan Mohan.

Black Bag

George and Kathryn, both intelligence officers, keep their work life a secret at home. When Kathryn is one of the suspects of colluding with a Russian operative to leak top-secret software, George is assigned to investigate his wife's whereabouts, putting a test on their marriage. Costao

The biographical crime drama set in the 1990s follows Costao Fernandes, a customs officer in Goa, and his perilous effort to single-handedly take down a gold smuggling racket. Costao pushes through hurdles thrown at him while also navigating struggles at home. Directed by Sejal Shah, the film features Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Priya Bapat, Kishore Kumar G, Hussain Dalal, and Mahika Sharma.

Paarivel, affectionately called Paari, vows to his wife, Rukmini, to leave his gangster life filled with crime and fight behind. However, old habits die hard as Paari finds it difficult to let go of his past life. Helmed by Karthik Subbaraj, the film stars Suriya, Pooja Hegde, Jayaram, Joju George, and Karunakaran.

Thunderbolts

When Earth’s mightiest superheroes, the Avengers, are absent, a team of anti-heroes assembled by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine must join hands to fight against Sentry, a lethal being with an abysmal kill count. Directed by Jake Schreier, the film features Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, Wyatt Russell, Olga Kurylenko, and Lewis Pullman.

Raid 2

The sequel of the 2019 flick sees the return of Indian Revenue Service Officer Amay Patnaik ready to bust down his 75th raid. This time, his nemesis is Dada Manohar Bhai, a powerful man with a political influence greater than the Chief Minister. Helmed by Raj Kumar Gupta, the film stars Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Vaani Kapoor, Rajat Kapoor, and Saurabh Shukla.

HIT: The Third Case

The third instalment in the HIT Universe follows Arjun Sarkaar, an aggressive and determined superintendent who transferred from Vishakapatnam to Jammu & Kashmir to solve a gruesome string of murders, the most challenging case of his career. Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, the film features Nani, Srinidhi Shetty, Surya Srinivas, Adil Pala, and Rao Ramesh.

Lovely

Boney dreams of going to Canada but his plans are thwarted when he is accused of a crime and lands in jail. While imprisoned and surrounded by hotheads, he finds an unlikely accomplice in a housefly named Lovely. Directed by Dileesh Nair, the film stars Mathew Thomas, Unnimaya Prasad, Manoj K Jayan, Prashanth Murali, and Baburaj.
