Dimple Kapadia once made SHOCKING remarks on Nana Patekar: ‘Have seen his terrible side…’

Dimple Kapadia and Nana Patekar first collaborated in the popular film Prahaar: The Final Attack in 1991. Soon, they starred together in movies such as as Angaar and Krantiveer. The two then reunited in Tum Milo Toh Sahi after several years, alongside Suniel Shetty. When Dimple was asked about her reunion with Nana Patekar, she said, “I think he is obnoxious.”

When asked whether it was a positive or a negative remark, she first took a pause, uttered a few ‘umm’s” and added, “In a good way, and a bad way. As far as his talent goes, there’s no match to him. He is an extremely talented man. When I see talent like him, sau khoon bhi maaf hai. Sab kuch maaf hai. Meri jaan bhi lelo (A hundred murders, everything is forgiven. In fact, take my life too). That’s the effect he has on me. But, as a person, with me, he has been very, very nice, kind, and a good friend. But I have also seen his terrible side…the dark side. We all have a dark side which is nicely and safely kept aside.”

Dimple Kapadia made his Bollywood debut with Raj Kapoor’s Bobby opposite Rishi Kapoor in 1973. She soon quit acting and got married to Bollywood superstar Rajesh Khanna. Later, she made a comeback with Ramesh Sippy’s Saagar, alongside Kamal Haasan and Rishi Kapoor. The actress was most recently seen in the 2024 film Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. She also appeared in Go Noni Go.

Talking about Nana Patekar, his most recent film was Vanvaas, released in December 2024. He also starred in Tadka (2022) and The Vaccine War (2023).
