Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): A police constable died of heart attack on cricket field during a match. This tragic incident reported in Jabalpur, when a constable Saurabh Shukla (28), who was celebrating winning a cricket match, died of a heart attack on the playing field.
The sudden incident turned the happiness of fellow players into grief. The incident happened on Sunday night. Saurabh, who was posted at Lardganj police station, was a fitness conscious and also a good cricket player.
Sourabh celebrates and fainted
A night cricket tournament is going on in Chargawan. Constable Saurabh's team was playing in it. Saurabh was playing the role of wicketkeeper during the match. As soon as the team won on the last ball, all the players jumped with joy and got into a celebratory mood.
Saurabh expressed his happiness by raising his hand and making a victory gesture, but during this time he fainted and fell down. Fellow players took him to the hospital.
After examination, the doctor declared Saurabh dead. On Monday, the body was examined in the medical college. Initial investigation revealed that the death was due to heart attack. Saurabh was cremated in his native village.
Saurabh Shukla was originally a resident of Mankwara village near Gadarwara. He was appointed as a constable in the police department in the year 2018. He was in the cyber cell of the district for a long time. Recently, he was posted at Lardganj police station.
