Major-General KP Singh inspires Ambala students to join the Army
Major General KP Singh, Additional Director General Recruiting (states), visited Government Senior Secondary School in Jatwar, Ambala, to urge students to consider a career in the Indian Army.
The visit aimed to instil a spirit of patriotism and guide young minds towards serving the nation. Maj Gen Singh had completed his primary education at the same school, making the interaction especially meaningful for the students.
During his address, Maj Gen Singh described the Indian Army as a symbol of valour and courage, offering not only the opportunity to serve the country but also to grow personally and professionally. He urged students to aspire to become officers or join as Agniveers under the Agnipath scheme.
He also stressed the inclusive nature of the armed forces, stating girls too could serve the nation as Agniveer Women Military Police or as officers. His message highlighted the noble work ethos, discipline and honour associated with a career in the military.
The visit served to bridge inspiration with aspiration, connecting the students of today with the service of tomorrow.
