Enemies of peace committed grave sin: Raina

SRINAGAR, Apr 28: Terming the killing of Handwara man as tragic, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National Executive member Ravinder Raina today said that the “enemies of peace” have committed a grave sin.
Speaking to reporters after visiting the family of Ghulam Rasool Magray in Kandi Khas area, Raina said that Magray was killed in the darkness of night by those he described as enemies of peace.
“It is a tragic incident. He was a helper of poor people. The way he has been targeted by the terrorists – enemies of peace, enemies of Kashmiriyat and humanity – is unfortunate,” he said.
Raina said the terrorists had committed a grave sin by killing the man who was the sole breadwinner of the family.
“His mother is visually impaired; the family has no means of livelihood. They don’t even have a house of their own. By targeting the innocent, the enemies of peace have committed a crime,” he said.
Raina added that while the law would ensure punishment for Magray’s killers, “God will never forgive them for the crime they have committed.”
He assured that the Jammu and Kashmir Government, along with the Centre, would provide all necessary help. “We stand with them in these difficult times,” he added.
