5,341 of 6,221 plaints received at Rohtak Samadhan camps resolved: ADC

Rohtak Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Narendra Kumar said of the 6,221 complaints received at the Samadhan Shivirs organised by the district administration so far, 5,341 complaints have been resolved and the settlement of 284 pending complaints is in progress.

“The remaining complaints include 227 cancelled complaints and 198 re-opened complaints,” the ADC said, adding that the officers should ensure the settlement of the complaints received in the samadhan camps as soon as possible.

Narendra Kumar was hearing the complaints of the residents at a samadhan camp organised at the conference hall of the local Mini-Secretariat along with District Development and Panchayat Officer Rajpal Chahal and other senior officials of the departments concerned.

He said as per instructions of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, the Samadhan Shivirs were being organised at the district level and sub-division level on Monday and Thursday every week from 10 am to 12 noon.

“The underlying idea behind organising the shivirs is to resolve the complaints related to all departments on the spot under one roof,” he said.

The Additional Deputy Commissioner directed the nodal officers of all departments to ensure that the pending complaints are settled at the earliest.

He asked the residents to bring their problems or complaints written on a plain paper, pointing out that there was no need of typed or printed complaints.

“Even if a person is unable to write, then arrangements have also been made to get his/her complaint written on the spot. The residents are not required to bring any affidavits,” he stated. Most of the complaints received at the samadhan camps pertain to correction in the family identity cards, various social pensions, Public Health Department, UHBVN, Police, Municipal Corporation, Revenue Department and Labour Department.

The ADC asked the officers concerned to settle these complaints soon.
