Rastogi is Forest Principal Chief Conservator

Sameer Rastogi, a 1988-batch Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer, has been appointed as the new Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (Head of Forest Force) in Himachal Pradesh. The state government issued a notification regarding his appointment on Monday.

Rastogi brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having served in various key positions within the Himachal Pradesh Forest Department. His notable positions include Divisional Forest Officer (DFO), Chief Conservator of Forests (CCF), and Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests.
