In Australia, the price of a packet of 20 Marlboro cigarettes is Rs 2,166.80. In Pakistan, it’s price is just Rs 80.

This simply means that a smoker can get a packet of 20 cigarettes for Rs 80 in Pakistan. So, the cost of one Marlboro cigarette is just Rs 4. Whereas in India the price of 20 Marlboro cigarettes is around Rs 340. It means one cigarette costs around Rs 17.

Cigarettes Are Cheaper In Bangladesh And China

Cigarette prices are different in every country due to several reasons. New Zealand has the second-highest cost with a pack of 20 cigarettes priced at Rs 1,877. This compares to Rs 1,165 in the UK, Rs 998 in Canada, Rs 908 in Singapore, and Rs 738 in the US. In contrary, a pack of Marlboro cigarettes costs Rs 612 in Saudi Arabia, Rs 294 in China, and Rs 241 in Bangladesh.

Earlier, Cigarettes Were Sold As A Healthy Product
