'My Identity Does Not Equate With Me Joining Politics': Preity Zinta Reveals If She Will Join BJP In Near Future
Preity Zinta on Monday decided to interact with her fans on X (Twitter). She did #pzchat and answered several questions from fans. A fan of the actress asked, "Are you gonna join BJP in the near future? Your tweets in the last few months seem like so (sic)." To this, Preity replied, "That’s the problem with people on social media, everybody has become so judgemental off late. As I said earlier, going to a temple / Maha Kumbh and being proud of who I am & my identity does not equate with me joining politics or for that reason BJP."
She further wrote, "Living outside India has made me realise the true value of my home country & like everyone else I do appreciate India & all things Indian much more now." Check out the tweet below...

Preity will next be seen in Lahore 1947 which also stars Sunny Deol in the lead role. The movie is directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, and produced by Aamir Khan. It was slated to release in January this year, but the film has been postponed, and the new release date is not yet announced.
Fans of Zinta are excited for the movie as they will get to watch her on the big screens after six years. Her last release was Bhaiaji Superhit which also starred Sunny Deol in the lead role.
