Vicky Kaushal Renews Mumbai's Juhu Apartment Lease, To Pay ₹6.2 Crore In 3 Years
Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal renewed the lease for his apartment in Mumbai's upscale Juhu neighborhood, with a monthly rent of Rs 17.01 lakh, according to property registration documents accessed by Square Yards via the Inspector General of Registration (IGR) website. The three-year lease renewal was officially registered in April 2025.
The leased apartment is situated in Raj Mahal, a ready-to-move-in residential project. It covers a carpet area of 258.48 sq m (approximately 2,781.83 sq ft). The lease transaction involved a stamp duty payment of Rs 1.69 lakh and registration charges of Rs 1,000.
The agreement also grants exclusive rights to three car parking spaces and includes a security deposit of Rs 1.75 crore.
According to an analysis by Square Yards, Vicky's current three-year lease, which commenced in January 2025, sets the monthly rent at Rs 17.01 lakh for the first two years, increasing to Rs 17.86 lakh in the third year.
Over the lease period, the actor is expected to pay a total of approximately Rs 6.2 crore in rent. This renewal follows his earlier lease agreement signed in July 2021 for a five-year term, where the rent initially started at Rs 8 lakh per month.
Juhu is one of Mumbai's most prestigious and sought-after residential areas. It is home to several Bollywood celebrities like Amitabh Bachchna, Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan, Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan, Shatrughan Sinha, and Shakti Kapoor.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Vicky was last seen in Laxman Utekar's Chhaava, which earned over Rs 600 crore in India. In the film, he essayed the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj.
The actor will next be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love and War along with Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.
