Pictures | Oman's first Crown Prince Theyazin bin Haitham gets married for the second time

Amid all the buzz about Oman hosting the US-Iran talks, the Sultanate has reportedly celebrated another event; the wedding of its Crown Prince Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said. A famous figure in the Sultante, Crown Prince Theyazin reportedly got hitched for the second time last week and the news was shared by the royal family on social media.
Photographs and videos widely shared by the Royal Family showed Crown Prince Sayyid Theyazin standing next to his father, Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, the Sultan of Oman.
Crown Prince Theyazin, who serves as Minister of Culture, Sports, and Youth of the Middle Eastern nation, got married to Sayyida Alia bint Mohammed bin Hilal Al Busaidi, who also comes from the Royal Family. Not much is known about the new bride other than that she is the daughter of a governor. Her uncle, Sayyid Saud bin Hilal Al Busaidi, is the Governor of Muscat. As per Omani culture, the photographs or details of women in the royal family are protected.
Crown Prince Theyazin's first marriage happened in 2021 in Muscat. The grand wedding marked the event but the marriage lasted barely six months. The bride was his first cousin, Sayyida Meyyan bint Shinab Al Said, the daughter of the Sultan’s brother and the sister of the Sultan’s wife. Six months after the wedding, the Palace stated the "couple separated in early 2022." Princess Sayyida is a famous artist specialising in digital art and photography and has conducted several exhibitions.
Crown Prince Theyazi became the first-ever Crown Prince of Oman in 2021 after being appointed by his father, the Sultan of Oman, by a royal decree.
