The romantic drama was released in 2006. The plot revolved around a simple couple and how they navigated their lives as individuals from their arranged marriage till after. It became a huge commercial success and also was listed as one of the highest grossers of the year.
Amrita Prakash made her debut on screen with an ad commercial. She has famous ad films to her name like Rasna, Glucon-D, Daburetc. She eventually tared working in the television industry. Her first film was Anubhav Sinha’s Tum Bin in 2001. She even got the opportunity to host a show, Kya Masti Kya Dhoom, with Sonali Bendre. Like several other actors, she also divulged into Malayalam films.
After a string of ad commercials, tv shows, movies, she bagged a role in Rajshri productions that defined a key milestone on her career. In several interview she has acknowledged the fact how Sooraj Barjataya’s film remains one of the biggest milestones that also put her on map across the country.
