MC intensifies efforts to remove stray cattle from twin cities
A team from the Municipal Corporation Yamunanagar-Jagadhri (MCYJ) has caught six stray cattle from Ward 18 of Zone II of the MC. After catching the stray cattle, the team transported them to the gaushalas of the district.
Chief Sanitary Inspector Sunil Dutt said on the directions of Municipal Commissioner Ayush Sinha, the MCYJ had launched a campaign to make twin cities Yamunanagar and Jagadhri free from stray cattle. He said recently, the MCYJ team caught six stray cattle that were roaming in the Farakpur area of Ward 18. Dutt further emphasised that the campaign would continue until both Yamunanagar and Jagadhri are free from stray cattle.
