Upset over hurting her pet, 60-year-old woman ends life in Andhra Pradesh

In Eluru, Lanka Raman, a 60-year-old woman, tragically ended her life. This followed a dispute with neighbors regarding her pet dog. Raman, upset by their complaints and an ensuing argument, struck her dog. Overwhelmed with remorse, she inflicted injuries on herself and then hanged herself at her residence. Police responded, but she was declared dead at the hospital.
