Sharad is all set to make a comeback on TV screens after 8 years of hiatus with the serial Tum Se Tum Tak. As per sources quoted by TV9 Hindi, Sharad is charging a fee of about Rs 3.5 lakh per day for this serial. Reports also claim that the duration of the series will be of 10 hours. With this, Sharad became one of the highest-paid TV celebs in the TV industry, leaving behind names like Rupali Ganguly, who plays the character of Anupama, and Dilip Joshi, who plays the character of Jethalal, and even others more.

Now, the question arises, how did Sharad reach the pinnacle of success in the TV industry? The answer to this is his presence in hit films like Tanhaji and Baahubali. Yes, Sharad has lent his voice to Prabhas-starrer Baahubali: The Beginning. Sharad lent his signature deep and husky voice to Prabhas’ character in the film.

According to Wikipedia, Baahubali grossed over Rs. 1810.60 crore worldwide, briefly becoming the highest-grossing Indian film of all time, surpassing Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma-starrer PK released in 2014. Not just this, Sharad has also been a part of another period drama which is Ajay Devgn and Kajol-starrer Tanhaji.

Released in 2020, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior featured Ajay Devgn and Kajol in lead roles. The film is an epic historical action film inspired by the life of Maratha warrior Tanaji Malusare.

Sharad played the important role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the movie and his character was deeply loved by the audience. Reports by Wikipedia revealed that the film grossed Rs 367.65 crore worldwide.
