Reportedly he begs in area between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and Azad Maidan. Over years of begging he has acquired enough wealth to build properties of his own!

Jain has begging almost over 40 years and earns Rs 200- Rs 2500 per day as per a report by ETimes. He works 10-12 hours a day and manages to bring home Rs 60,000- Rs 75,000 a month.

Bharat Jain reportedly owns two flats worth Rs 1.4 crores and lives with his wife, two sons and his brother. Same Etimes report claims that he own two shops in Thane but refuses to leave begging on the street despite his family’s perusals.

His sons studies at a convent school. He said that he is “not greedy but generous” and also indulges in certain temple donations too.
