MP Transco Indore Employees Trained in Life-Saving Techniques
A training workshop on “CPR and Other Life-Saving Techniques” was organized for the personnel of Transmission Line Maintenance Sub-divisions and Substations under the joint aegis of Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company (MP Transco) and State Disaster Emergency Response Force (SDERF).
The workshop was held at MP Transco’s 400 kV Substation in Indore, coordinated by Additional Chief Engineer of Indore, Neelam Khanna. She highlighted the objectives and significance of the program. Approximately 60 regular, contractual, outsourced, and security personnel from Transmission Line Maintenance Sub-division Indore, 400 kV Substation Division Indore, Testing and SCADA Division Indore participated in this important workshop.
The training was conducted by experts from SDERF, Indore – Provincial Civil Officer Nilesh Damor and Rangpal Singh. They provided practical and highly useful techniques during the session.
Thanks to the consistent efforts of Neelam Khanna and Executive Engineer Namrata Jain, the workshop included detailed CPR training using human mannequins and videos. It was ensured that each participant practiced CPR techniques on the mannequins under expert supervision. Additionally, information was provided on first aid in emergencies such as electric shocks, choking, injuries, and other critical situations.
