Pakistan violates ceasefire twice in 24 hrs: Indian Army foils infiltration bid along LoC
In a major provocation, Pakistan violated the ceasefire agreement for the second time within 24 hours by opening fire across multiple points along the Line of Control (LoC). According to defense reporter Neeraj Rajput, the firing appeared to be a deliberate cover by the Pakistani Army to push infiltrators into Indian territory. However, the Indian Army was alert and successfully thwarted the infiltration attempt. In response, Indian forces launched a strong counteroffensive, targeting Pakistani positions. No casualties have been reported so far from either side. The sudden spike in cross-border firing has once again escalated tensions between the two nations. Defense sources suggest that such actions by Pakistan are often intended to disrupt peace and aid terrorists in crossing over. This latest violation raises concerns about Pakistan’s intent to destabilize the region and challenge the existing ceasefire agreement. The Indian Army remains vigilant and prepared to respond to any further provocations.
