Bhubaneswar: BJD President and Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik extended heartfelt congratulations to Odisha HPC athlete Animesh Kujur for his sensational performance at the 28th National Federation Senior Athletics Competition in Kochi.
Kujur clinched the gold medal in the Men’s 200m Sprint, setting a new national record with an electrifying time of 20.40 seconds.
In a post on social media, Naveen lauded the young sprinter’s achievement.
“Congratulate Odisha HPC athlete Animesh Kujur on winning gold medal in the Men’s 200m Sprint with a National Record timing of 20.40s at the 28th National Federation Senior Athletics Competition. Congratulate him on qualifying for the Asian Athletics Championships 2025 as well. May he continue to shine and bring laurels for the country and the state”, Naveen wrote.
