‘Thudarum’ pre-sales touch Rs 2.33 cr in Kerala: Mohanlal-Shobana film off to a promising start

‘Thudarum,’ starring Mohanlal and Shobana, has premiered strongly, securing the second-highest pre-release bookings for a Malayalam film in 2025 with Rs 2.33 crores. The film, directed by Tharun Moorthy, tells the story of Shanmughan, a taxi driver in Ranni, and his emotional bond with his Ambassador car. Initially, Jyothika was considered for Shobana's role due to communication issues.
