MP Arora holds ‘Janta Darshan’ to address public grievances

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate for the Ludhiana West Assembly constituency by-election, Member of Parliament Sanjeev Arora, organised a ‘Janta Darshan’ programme at his office on Wednesday, engaging directly with local residents to hear their grievances and offer redressal.

During the public outreach event, Arora reaffirmed his commitment to citizen-centric governance, stressing residents should not have to visit multiple offices to resolve basic problems. “I met people from across the constituency today during the ‘Janta Darshan’, listened to their concerns and took on-the-spot action for resolution,” said Arora.

He said his core objective is to address problems at the grassroots level, ensuring prompt and efficient service delivery. “No citizen should be made to go from pillar to post. If someone comes with a genuine concern, it must be resolved without delay,” he added.

The event witnessed a strong turnout, underscoring growing public support for Arora’s approachable leadership style. Many attendees expressed appreciation for the opportunity to directly engage with their representative and highlighted swift action taken on matters such as water supply, sanitation, electricity and road maintenance.

“The trust of the people is my strength,” Arora remarked. “Their faith motivates me to work harder each day. Every interaction helps me stay connected to those I serve.”

The AAP leadership has commended Arora’s public outreach, describing it as a reflection of the party’s governance philosophy — one grounded in transparency, accessibility and a people-first approach.

Reiterating his commitment to inclusive governance, Arora concluded, “My doors are always open to the people. I am here to listen, act, and ensure that every voice is heard. Transparent, accessible governance is not a promise — it’s my duty.”
