J&K: Kathua journo assaulted while covering BJP protest over terror attack

In Kathua, Jammu & Kashmir, journalist Rakesh Sharma was assaulted and hospitalized while covering a BJP protest against the Pahalgam terror attack. The assault occurred after Sharma questioned state security, leading to accusations of “separatist language” by party activist Himanshu Sharma. Other activists, including Ravinder Singh, Ashwani Sharma, and Manjit Singh, joined in the assault.
