WBBSE Madhyamik Result 2025: West Bengal Class 10 Results To Be Declared On THIS Day

The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has announced that the Madhyamik Pariksha (Class 10) results for 2025 will be released on Friday, May 2, at 9 AM. Alongside the much-anticipated results, the board will also publish the merit list featuring the top 10 rank holders.

Nearly 10 Lakh Students Appeared For Madhyamik 2025

This year saw an impressive turnout, with 9,84,894 students taking the Madhyamik exams. This was an increase of 62,000 candidates compared to 2024. The exams were conducted between February 10 and 22 at 2,683 examination centres across West Bengal. 

The results are being declared exactly 70 days after the last exam.

Previous Years' Performance In Madhyamik Exam

In 2024, the Madhyamik results were also declared on May 2. That year, 9,23,013 students appeared, with a pass percentage of 86.31%. In comparison, 2023 saw 6,82,321 candidates, achieving a slightly lower pass rate of 86.15%.

District-wise, Kalimpong emerged as the top performer in 2024 with an impressive 96.2% pass rate, followed closely by East Midnapore at 95.4%, and Kolkata in third place with 91.6%. The year before, East Medinipur led with 96.81%, followed by Kalimpong at 94.13%, and again, Kolkata secured the third spot with 93.75%.
