While there is an alert of rain and thunderstorm in the hilly states till April 26 due to Western Disturbance, the weather will change in Uttar Pradesh from April 26 and rain and thunderstorm warning has been issued in many districts till April 29.
UP’s Bahraich district will remain cloudy on April 27, while there is a rain alert on April 28, 29 and 30. Apart from this, light rain may occur in Azamgarh on April 27. At the same time, an alert of rain and thunderstorm has been issued on April 28 as well. Talking about Ayodhya district, it will remain cloudy on April 26, it may rain on April 27, 28. An alert of rain and thunderstorm has also been issued in Ballia on April 27-28. At the same time, there is an alert of rain, storm in Deoria too.
However, the Meteorological Department has said that heatwave conditions are going to prevail in Northwest India till April 29, East and Central India till April 26. During this period, Northeast India will receive heavy to very heavy rainfall till April 27. Apart from this, a new round of rain is going to come in East India from April 26-28. A warning of thunderstorms and lightning has also been issued.
Talking about the weather of the last 24 hours, thunderstorms and lightning occurred in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sikkim, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala, Mahe, North Interior Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Telangana. Hail fell in Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim. Apart from this, heatwave conditions were observed in Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand, East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Telangana.
The Meteorological Department has forecast that there will be heavy rain in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh till April 27, Nagaland, Mizoram, Tripura till April 26, Arunachal Pradesh till April 24, Assam, Meghalaya till April 24 and 26. Apart from this, there is an alert of rain, thunderstorm and lightning in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalaseema, Kerala, Mahe, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal for the next seven days. Kerala is going to receive heavy rains on April 24, 28 and 29. Tamil Nadu will receive heavy rains on April 24.
Apart from this, if we talk about North India, the weather will change here too and an alert has been issued for light to moderate rain, thunderstorm and lightning in eastern Uttar Pradesh between April 26-29. Apart from this, strong winds can also blow at a speed of 40-50 to 60 kilometers per hour. Thunderstorms and strong winds are expected in Bihar on 26th and 28th April, in Gangetic West Bengal, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, East Madhya Pradesh on 27th and 28th April and in South Interior Karnataka on 27th April. There is an alert of rain and thunderstorms in the hilly states of North India between 24th and 26th April due to Western Disturbance.
