-Now offer the necessary documents like gadget notification, marriage certification or other legal documents to change your surname.

-Then you will have to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 50 for the update.

-After this, review your details, submit the request and save the Service Request Number (SRN) so that you can track the status of your update request.

How to change surname offline by visiting Aadhaar center

-Go to your nearest Aadhaar service center, fill the form and fill in the required information like name, Aadhaar number etc.

-After this, submit photocopies of necessary documents like marriage certificate etc. Keep in mind that you should also have the original documents for verification.

-After this, a new photo and fingerprint or biometric information will be taken.

-Then you will have to pay a fee of Rs 50 to update your information.
