Actor Manoj Bajpayee, who has made a place in the hearts of fans, has not had an easy journey into the world of acting. Born in a small village in Bihar, Manoj had to lie to his father to get into acting. The actor’s 55th birthday is on 23 April. On this occasion, let’s know an interesting anecdote related to his life. Manoj Bajpayee may have been born in a small village in Bihar, but he had a big dream of becoming an actor in his heart since childhood. For this, he worked very hard, did a lot of hard work, and even lied.
In ‘The Anupam Kher Show’, the actor had said that his farmer father wanted his son to become a doctor, and for this he used to encourage him day and night. He wanted to fulfill his dream of becoming a doctor, but this was broken due to poverty through his son. For this reason, he sent Manoj to a hostel at the age of seven. Manoj had told that he also has a complaint with his family about being sent to a hostel at such a young age. He had said, “I was young and other older children used to trouble me there.”
In the show, Manoj revealed that he had to work very hard to become an actor. He had to lie to reach Delhi. After passing 12th, he had told his parents that he was going to Delhi to prepare for the civil services examination. He would not have been able to come to Delhi by telling the truth to his parents, which is why he had to lie.
He had told his father, ‘I cannot become a doctor, but I will become an IAS and I want to go to Delhi to prepare for this.’ Hearing these words of Manoj, the family agreed and sent him to Delhi. After a few years, Manoj wrote a letter to his father and told him that he had come to Delhi to become an actor.
The special thing is that his father did not get angry after knowing the truth, instead he replied in a funny way and wrote, “My dear son Manoj. I am your father and I know that you have gone to Delhi to become an actor, not an IAS officer.”
