'They'll Kill Hindus In Hindustan?': BJP's Suvendu Adhikari Meets Grieving Families Of Pahalgam Attack Victims, Calls For 'Israel-Style Retaliation' (VIDEO)
Kolkata: The bodies of two Kolkata men killed in the brutal terror attack that took place in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir on Tuesday, April 22, were brought back to the state on Wednesday (April 23) evening.
The victims, identified as Bitan Adhikari and Sameer Guha, were flown from Delhi to the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata.
Leader of Opposition and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Shubhendu Adhikari, who was also present on the site, shared a heartbreaking video of the distressed family members of the victims, who recalled the horror.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Adhikari wrote, “I met their grieving families and tried to express my condolences to the bereaved families in this hour of great grief. I was shocked to hear the horror of the incident, that the terrorists killed the tourists so brutally only because they were Hindus."
"The memory of our Hindu brothers who tragically lost their lives in the Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir yesterday will remain etched in our hearts with utmost respect and solemnity. I firmly believe that the Government of India will take the harshest revenge for this heinous and hellish incident," he added.

In the clip, a woman recounts the harrowing experience and tells Adhikhari, "They asked me if I was Muslim, if I could recite the Kalma, I said no, and they killed him (husband). They killed his (son's) father right in front of his eyes."
In response, the BJP MLA said, "They will kill Hindus in Hindustan? Just like Israel finished Gaza, we will also put an end to this menace. We are Modi's pupils. Don't worry, I'll take care of your kid. I'll help you in whatever way I can. We will see an end to this."
Senior West Bengal ministers Arup Biswas and Firhad Hakim, BJP MLA Agnimitra Paul were also present at the airport and paid their respects to the bodies of the victims.
The brutal terror attack took place at the Baisaran meadow, a popular tourist destination near Pahalgam, where gunmen opened fire on civilians gathered in the area. The attack claimed the lives of 26 individuals and left several others injured.
