Aswath, 16, wins Grenke Open and secures first GM norm

Indian chess prodigy Aswath S, seeded 38th, triumphed at the Grenke Open in Germany, scoring 8/9 and securing his first Grandmaster norm. The Tamil Nadu native's impressive performance included defeating three GMs and drawing with Ivan Saric. Aswath's victory earned him 20,000 euros.
