Driver among 2 killed as bus slips into gorge

REASI, Apr 23: In a tragic accident, driver of a passenger bus along with conductor were killed when the vehicle slipped into deep gorge in Panchayat Sarhi, near the Sub-Centre Sarhi in Block Bhomag, here today.
The bus, bearing registration number JK14D-1191, was carrying no passenger at the time of accident.
The deceased were identified as Barinder Singh, age 18 years, son of Labbu Ram, resident of Sarhi and Kamal Singh, age 23 years, son of Dileep Singh, resident of Panjer, District Udhampur. They reportedly died on the spot.
According to the reports, the bus was being taken for its washing and hence no passenger was on board when the accident took place.
Police shifted dead bodies of both the deceased to hospital for post-mortem and other legal formalities.
