Madhya Pradesh: Advisory Councils To Develop Sanskardhani Jabalpur

Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): To ensure public participation in the holistic development of Sanskardhani Jabalpur, a proposal suggesting to set up a Mayor's Advisory Council and a Speaker's Advisory Council was deliberated by the councillors.

Jabalpur, known as Sanskardhani (the city of culture), is progressing on the path of development, and the Jabalpur Municipal Corporation is playing a significant role in this development journey. 

With the aim of making city's development more inclusive, people-centric, and visionary, this proposal suggests the formation of advisory councils. 

It is believed that by leveraging the knowledge and experience of experienced and distinguished individuals from various fields, Jabalpur can be established as a beautiful, prosperous, and progressive city. Regarding this, a highly significant proposal, beneficial and respectful to all sections of the city, was presented from the Speaker's chair in the House. 

Mayor Jagat Bahadur Singh readily accepted it and assured that this public interest proposal would be included with unanimous consent.

Reading the proposal, Jabalpur Municipal Corporation Speaker Rikunj Vij stated that there are many distinguished individuals in Jabalpur city from various fields who can make significant contributions to the city's development with their specific knowledge, experience, and perspectives. 

This will not only make the development process more comprehensive but also better reflect the aspirations of the citizens.

The main objective of this proposal is to ensure the active participation of various stakeholders in important policy decisions related to the city's development; to provide expert advice to the Mayor and the Municipal Corporation Speaker on various aspects related to the city's development; to make development plans more practical, inclusive, and visionary; to promote dialogue and cooperation between the government and citizens; and to take concrete steps towards establishing Jabalpur as a beautiful, clean, green, and developed city.
