Bhopal: BJP, Congress Muslim Leaders Protest Against Pahalgam Incident

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The protest against Pahalgam massacre across the country was also seen in the state capital on Wednesday.

The BJP and the Congress workers protested against it. The most important part was that the Muslim leaders of both parties participated in the demonstration.  

Legislator Arif Masood led the demonstration on behalf of the Congress. The protestors condemned the attack, saying it was a tragic incident. They demanded stern action against those who killed the innocent. The Muslim children also participated in the demonstration.

Similarly, Sanwar Patel led the demonstration on behalf of the BJP. Kashmir is an integral part of the country, and the incident has hurt the sentiments of every Muslim living in India, he said.

Patel demanded stringent action against the guilty. Those who participated in the demonstration raised slogans against Pakistan.The purpose of bringing the two Muslim leaders to the front was to maintain communal harmony.

Pakistan’s act of cowardice

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has called the Pahalgam attack an act of cowardice by Pakistan.

It was a bolt from the blue that affected nation, Yadav said. The country is ready to teach a lesson to Pakistan and its supporters, Yadav said. Yadav also paid tribute to Sushil Nathaniyal, a resident of Indore, who was also killed in the Pahalgam incident.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah are monitoring the situation arising out of the tragedy, Yadav said.
