Bhopal: 6-Year-Old Girl Of Nomadic Tribe Abducted While She Was Asleep
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A six-year-old girl belonging to nomadic tribe was abducted while she was asleep under a bridge under Koh-e-Fiza police station on April 5.
The family searched the girl at all possible places and then reached collectorate where the officials called the police and issued instructions to search for her.
According to reports, Hemabai Banjara (name changed) lives under an overbridge with her paralysed husband and eight children. The family sells toys to earn their living. Hemabai informed police that her daughter went missing while the family was asleep on the night on April 5. She said family searched for the girl at all possible places but to no avail.
Koh-e-Fiza police station house officer Brajendra Marskole said a case of abduction had been registered against unidentified person following the complaint of girl’s mother.
The woman informed that her brother-in-law and other relatives had come to visit them on April 5. She raised suspicion that they might have taken her daughter with them.
However, the woman failed in providing the exact address and location of her relatives who may have abducted her daughter. CCTV footages are being scanned and efforts are underway to rescue the girl, the TI added.
