In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Pakistani General had asked India to take reciprocal measures for nuclear risk reduction and work reciprocally to reduce the risk of nuclear war, as per a report by the Navbharat Times.
Apart from this statement, the General has indicated that India should focus on nuclear arms reduction to maintain geo-strategic balance. The statement seems significant as it comes at a time where a threat of small scale conflict looms over India and Pakistan.
