Is Elon Musk Bringing The Tesla Cybertruck To India?

The Cybertruck is one of the wildest cars on sale today as this pick-up truck has divided opinion unlike anything else while being the most ambitious project yet from tesla. Now, an example has been spied in India at the back of a tow truck sparking a frenzy that it might be coming to India. However, it is not a test car as instead it has been privately brought into India most likely via the Carnet route where you can bring in imported cars albeit for shorter time periods.

However, another key reason to support it is that the Cybertruck is primarily built for LHD or Left Hand Drive markets and not India. Hence, the owner has brought it from aboard and now it will run on for a few months here in Carnet. So ATA Carnet means a duty free temporary admission of goods into a country without the need to raise customs bond, payment of duty etc.

As far as the Cybertruck is concerned, this near 6m huge beast is bulletproof and comes with a lot of power courtesy a tri motor set-up where this truck can hit 100 km/h in just 2.6 seconds. Other highlights being the stainless steel skin, huge 35in tyres and loads of technology being added into it. This car is at the moment for a few markets and India is not part of it as for now, we can expect the Model Y and the Model 3 to come to India. The Model Y has already been spotted in India and a formal announcement regarding the India entry would be expected soon.
