'India & The World Stand United With Them': Sachin Tendulkar Grieves For Pahalgam Terror Attack Victims, Prays For Justice

Ex-Indian batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar joined the list of current and former Indian cricketers to condemn the terror attack that has taken place in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir. The former Indian skipper said he can't imagine the ordeal the affected families would be going through and assured that the entire country is with everyone affected in these tough times.

At least 12 tourists have been reported injured and a handful of them lost their lives as unidentified gunmen shot them during the terror attack in Pahalgam. A father-son duo, belonging to Gujarat, are also included in the deceased list as the Indian government is likely to come up with a strong response.

Taking to X, Tendulkar wrote:

"Shocked and deeply saddened by the tragic attacks on innocent people in Pahalgam. The affected families must be going through an unimaginable ordeal – India and the world stand united with them at this dark hour, as we mourn the loss of lives and pray for justice."

MI and SRH players to wear black armbands to condemn terrorist attack

Meanwhile, Wednesday's IPL 2025 game between the Mumbai Indians and SunRisers Hyderabad will see both sides' players and umpires wearing black armbands to condemn the terror attack in Pahalgam.

At the same time, a minute's silence will be observed and there will be no cheerleaders and fireworks to give respect to those affected by the tragedy.
