While hosting the post-match presentation after the clash between Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars, Ramiz Raja invited Joshua Little to receive the “Catch of the Match” award. However, in a surprising slip of the tongue, he mistakenly called it the “Catch of the IPL,”. The gaffe caught everyone off guard, including the players and officials present.

While some fans took it lightly, others in Pakistan weren’t too amused and voiced their disappointment on social media, even demanding a public apology from Ramiz.

Multan Sultan beat Lahore Qalandars

Multan Sultans posted a mammoth total of 228 runs, powered by a blazing innings from Yasir Khan, who smashed 87 runs off just 44 deliveries. Iftikhar Ahmed chipped in with a rapid 40 off 18, helping set up a daunting target.

In response, Lahore Qalandars showed some fight, with Sikandar Raza top-scoring for them with a brisk 50 off 27 balls. However, their batting faltered in the face of tight bowling, and they could only manage 195/9 in their 20 overs, handing Multan a 33-run victory.
