The BSF troops today seized arms, ammunition, explosives, hand grenades with accessories, and a huge amount of narcotics in the border area of Amritsar. Based on precise information from the BSF intelligence wing, the troops conducted a thorough search operation in the suspected area and successfully seized two large packets from a field near Bhallarwal village in Amritsar district.

Upon opening the packets, two pistols along with four magazines, 50 live rounds, two hand grenades with accessories, explosive material with IED components, a remote device, two electric detonators, and eight small packets containing 7.7 kg of heroin were seized.

In another operation, the BSF troops recovered a Pakistani drone and two heroin consignments from the border belt of Amritsar and Gurdaspur.
