Pune To Face Full-Day Water Cut On April 24 In THESE Areas

The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has announced a full-day water cut on Thursday, April 24, in several areas of the city. Several parts of Pune will experience water distribution disruption due to urgent structural maintenance and repair work at the water treatment plant at Pare Company Road, as well as addressing a major leakage in the main pressure water line at Dhairi.

The affected areas are: Pare Company Road, Ganesh Nagar, Limaye Nagar, Garmala, Gosavi Vasti, Barangani Mala, Dalvi Wadi, Kamble Vasti, Manas Area, Naik Ali, Yashwant Vihar Buster (all areas), Lane No. 10 to 34 (both A and B sides), Raykar Nagar, Chavan Bang, and the Trimurti Hospital premises.

The PMC has also cautioned that on Friday, April 25, residents in these areas may experience low pressure and delayed water supply as the system stabilizes post-repairs.

Chief Engineer Nandkishore Jagtap of the Water Supply Department has appealed to citizens for their cooperation and understanding during this essential maintenance operation. Residents are advised to store adequate water in advance and use it judiciously during this period.
