Heavy Rain Alert: Heavy rain warning in these states for the next 7 days, know the condition of your state

Heavy Rain Alert: India’s Meteorological Department has issued a major alert. Heavy rain has been warned for the next 5 days and an alert has been issued for strong lightning for 7 days.

Heavy Rain Alert: An alert (IMD Alert) has been issued regarding rain and strong winds at the speed of 40 to 60 kmph along with thunderstorms in Northeast India during the next 7 days. Know in detail where there is an alert for heavy rain and severe heat.

Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely over Assam and Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh during 22 to 27 April and heavy rainfall is likely over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura on 23 and 25 April (Weather Update Latest News).

There is a possibility of thunderstorms, strong winds with speed of 30 to 50 kmph and rain in Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, Rayalaseema, Kerala and Mahe. There is a possibility of lightning in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal during the next 7 days and in eastern India during 26-28 April. There is also a heatwave alert in many places till 28 April. Hot winds are expected to blow in eastern Madhya Pradesh till 28 April, in western Uttar Pradesh during 22 to 27 April, in eastern Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Odisha during 22 to 26 April, in Punjab, Haryana and Delhi (Delhi NCR Weather Update) during 24 to 28 April.

Heatwave alert may also occur in Rajasthan and western Madhya Pradesh from 24 to 28 April, in Gangetic West Bengal during 23 to 26 April and in Jharkhand on 25 and 26 April.
