Harsha Bhogle Reacts To Commentary Panel Rumours For KKR Matches In IPL 2025

Indian commentator Harsha Bhogle has reacted to the rumours of him being axed from the commentary panel for KKR matches in IPL 2025, stating that these are 'inappropriate conclusions'.

There were several reports suggesting that CAB asked to remove both, Harsha Bhogle and Simon Doull from the commetary panel due to their heavy criticism on pitches of Eden Gardens  prepared by CAB curator Sujan Mukherjee.

Here's what Harsha Bhogle wrote on his post on 'X':

"There are some inappropriate conclusions being drawn about why I wasn't at yesterday's game in Kolkata. Quite simply, it wasn't on the list of matches I was down to do! Asking me would have resolved the issue. Rosters are done before the tournament starts. I was rostered for two games in Kolkata. I was there for the first and an illness in the family prevented me from being at the 2nd."

KKR's Troubled Title Defence

Reigning IPL champions Kolkata Knight Riders have had a troubled title defence so far, as the three-time winners have securely only 3 wins out of their 8 games.

With 6 games remaining in the tournament, their road to playoffs this season has just become way more tougher, and if they are to keep their defence alive, KKR will have to win atleast 5 games.
