Wedding Night Turns Into Nightmare After Madhya Pradesh Groom Finds Out He Was Married To A Different Bride

Rajgarh (Madhya Pradesh): The wedding night turned into a nightmare for a 22-year-old after he found that his bride was not the same girl his marriage was fixed to!

The incident was reported in Madhya Pradesh's Rajgarh district.

The groom identified as Kamal Singh Sondhiya, from Budhanpur village, was cheated in the name of marriage. He panicked on his wedding night after he heard his wife revealing her plan to someone on phone, saying she would give her husband sleeping pills.

According to information, the incident is of Leemachouhan police station area. The marriage took place on April 14 at a mass wedding event in Limboda village.

Kamal thought he was marrying a girl named Radha from Susner, but after the wedding, he discovered the bride was someone else.

The deal was fixed for ₹11 lakh. Out of this, ₹5.75 lakh was given to the girl's father, and the remaining ₹5.25 lakh was paid to a middleman named Kalu Singh.

Bride Planned to Drug Groom and Run Away

Kamal told the police that on the night of the wedding, he found his new bride talking on the phone. She was saying that she would give sleeping pills to Kamal and his family, and then run away with the jewelry and cash.

Kamal confronted her. That’s when he realised she was not the same girl shown to him before the wedding. Her real name was Saloni, not Radha—and she was already married to another man.

Fake Marriage Planned by a Group

According to police officer Anil Rahoriya, the fake marriage was planned by middlemen Kalu Singh and Balu Singh. They worked with Jorawar Singh and his wife from Susner, who first showed their own daughter to Kamal's family. Later, they brought in another woman through Shareek Khan from Bhopal.

Shareek contacted a couple from Harsud in Khandwa district. With the help of her husband Jitendra Gond, Saloni Gond was sent as the bride. The couple currently lives in Itarsi.

Five People Arrested, Two Still Missing

The police have arrested five people so far: fake bride Saloni Gond, her husband Jitendra Gond, middlemen Kalu Singh and Balu Singh, and Shareek Khan. All of them have been sent to jail after being presented in court. Jorawar Singh and his wife are still missing.

The case has shocked the local area, and police are continuing their search for the remaining accused.
